Dr Tim Chang

Principal Dentist
Tim prides himself on providing gentle dental care and is always striving for the highest quality. He has always had a passion for intricate detail and sees dentistry as the prefect mix of helping people and applying his craftsmanship skill. Tim’s motto in dentistry is to treat each patient as if he was working on his family.
He has a no compromise approach to quality and believes strongly in evidence-based practice. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and particularly likes keeping up-to-date with the latest advances in dental technology.
Tim has completed and presented research on periodontal health and was recipient of the Colgate research scholarship at university. He has had experience in both private and public dental practices throughout Victoria and the ACT.
He is trained and accredited for technologies such as:
Dentsply Sirona CEREC CAD/CAM Dentistry, ICLE Diode Laser Certification, STA The WAND Painless Injections, Invisalign, Fastbraces and Cone Beam CT/ 3D Volumetric X-ray Imaging.
Dr Caroline Nguyen
B.D.S. (Adelaide)
Principal Dentist (currently on maternity leave, will be returning shortly)
After gaining experience in wide range of different practices in Victoria and the ACT she decided to set up practice in her hometown of Yarraville. Caroline’s family has lived in Yarraville for more than 30 years. She grew up attending the local St Augustine’s primary school. From a working class family, Caroline understands the virtues of honest hard work. She enjoys the challenges of creating, managing and leading her own dental surgery. Her is aim to deliver outstanding dental care and also create a caring family environment for every patient and staff member. Caroline’s passion for her dental clinic has seen her invited to present at small business workshops to help local business.
Caroline is skilled at all aspects of general dentistry and has special interest in oral surgery and orthodontics. Caroline prides herself on providing a tailored approach to dentistry and makes patients young or old feel at ease in her care.
Dr Margaret Nguyen
B.O.H.(Latrobe) Masters of Clinical Dentistry (Latrobe)
Margaret is vibrant and enthusiastic. She studied dentistry in Bendigo at Latrobe University. She spent the majority of her formative years living and working in rural/regional Victoria, and it is from this experience Margaret has become passionate about providing dental care to all members of our community.
You may find her face familiar as she has been working at Choice Dental as a firstly a dental assistant and dentist for the past 10 years. She prides herself on bringing the “Choice Dental” level of excellent dental care to all of her patients.
In her spare time, Margaret enjoys immersing herself in an active lifestyle through activities such as hiking, rowing or training for the next half marathon.
Dr Emer Kelly

Dr. Emer graduated from Queens University Belfast, Ireland. She is a passionate & well versed dentist who enjoys every aspect of dentistry. She takes pride in building a long lasting relationship with all her patients ensuring they are well taken care of from the very first visit.
Dr Diem Truong
B.D.Sc. (Melbourne)
Since graduating from the University of Melbourne, Diem has had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of communities from Ballarat to Brunswick. She is now sharing her passion in cosmetic dentistry closer to home at Choice Dental. Her interests in ballet, poetry and art are all reflected in her work – she is focused on the finer details to create the perfect smile.
Diem believes in the importance of working in partnership with her clients in order to provide personalised care. Her gentle approach, with the use of modern technology and practices, will ensure that you will receive a unique and unforgettable dental experience.
Dr Joshua Wong
B.D.S. (Adelaide)
Joshua graduated from the University of Adelaide and has since gained a wealth of experience practising as a general dentist in the Riverland, South Australia. His broad exposure to patients of various ages and needs has enabled him to provide the highest level of care and treatment plans to his patients.
He is a passionate dentist who strives to treat every patient with professionalism and a tailored personal approach. He is often been described by his patients as a patient, gentle and friendly dentist who makes his patients feel comfortable at the clinic.
